The All New Seek Series

The new Seek was created for one reason: to transform the road riding experience for kids and give them the same feeling of speed, efficiency and control that adult road riders enjoy.

The heart of the Seek is its lightweight aluminum frame and smooth riding composite fork—both purpose-built and optimized for smaller diameter 650b composite wheels. The components have been chosen, and in some cases specially designed, to give young riders a higher level of control, comfort and overall performance.

The Seek’s superlight 7.4kg weight (Seek 1 model) and unique components—including handlebars, brake levers and shifters for smaller hands—make it easier for kids to climb, descend and corner with greater speed and confidence.

Beyond that, a full selection of thoughtfully chosen parts—from the 1X drivetrain with electronic shifting to the kid-sized saddle and intuitive seatpost fit system—makes Seek the perfect bike to grow with for 130-150cm tall riders as they gain experience and extend their road riding capabilities.

YOUTH-OPTIMIZED COMPONENTS

A Giant Contact SL Lite handlebar, designed for smaller hands, features a shorter reach (62mm) and drops (100mm) than typical adult bars. The brake levers are designed for smaller hands, with a 35% shorter reach from the drops and 30% shorter from the hoods. The outer hood diameter is 20% smaller, while the lever’s flared shape improves ergonomics. The braking curve is tuned for lower grip strength, giving kids better control in all conditions. A 1X drivetrain with electronic shifting makes gear changing easier, and a Giant Grit Core Lite saddle has a narrow 125mm width for optimal comfort and positioning.

EFFORTLESS FIT

Designed for kids 130-150cm tall, Seek makes it easy to adjust the fit and modify a rider’s position as he grows taller and gains experience. A seatpost marked with a body height index makes saddle height adjustment quick, easy and intuitive. The frameset is designed around the 650b wheels with an increased bottom bracket drop to enhance stability.

GRAVEL-CAPABLE 650B TIRE CLEARANCE

Seek is designed with 650B wheels and clearance for up to 37mm gravel tires. This clearence is purposefully reserved to extend the bike’s capability beyond paved roads. It allows young riders to run wider tires for gravel and mixed terrain conditions, supporting their progression into new riding experiences as they grow.

UDH DROPOUT DESIGN

Seek is equipped with a Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) dropout. This design enhances drivetrain protection and axle alignment while ensuring compatibility with a broad range of derailleur systems. It allows young riders to upgrade to gravel-specific drivetrains when their riding interests expand beyond paved roads.
